The mission
Every decision made in Washington lands somewhere. This is where it lands.
Your Voice, Your Vote is a nonpartisan community storytelling series that goes into the neighborhoods where federal policy actually shows up — into the communities it’s impacting. We don’t run candidates. We don’t run parties. We run truth, on camera, from the people closest to it.
Before anyone asks a community to vote, that community deserves to be heard. Your Voice, Your Vote starts every conversation by listening: real residents, real consequences, real local response. The urgency to vote follows naturally from the truth of what’s been said.
This isn’t a campaign ad. It’s a mirror — held up to communities so that they, and the politicians deciding for them, can see what’s at stake when they decide whether to show up.
The project

Your Voice, Your Vote is produced in partnership with PA Alliance Action, bringing cinematic, on-the-ground video storytelling to Pennsylvania communities directly affected by federal-level decisions — funding cuts, program eliminations, policy shifts — and the local and state response working to fill the gap.
Each episode is shot where the story lives. No soundstage. No script handed to a resident. Just a camera, a community, and the truth of what’s changed in their daily lives.
Berks County & Montgomery County
When federal funding cuts hit — including SNAP — the ripple didn’t stop at grocery budgets. It reached classrooms. It reached hospital services. It reached the families who depend on both.
This series follows that ripple, and follows the people who refused to let it become a wave: youth organizers with the NAACP Youth Chapter, community advocates with The VIBE, and residents living the consequences of decisions made hundreds of miles away — and organizing anyway.
Monroe County
Monroe County’s story is still being told — one conversation at a time, one resident at a time, starting with the people who know this community best.
Why “Your Voice, Your Vote”
Communities don’t need to be told to vote. They need to be trusted enough to be heard first.
Your Voice, Your Vote exists because the loudest voices in politics are rarely the ones actually affected by the policy being debated. We flip that. The residents of these counties aren’t background extras in someone else’s campaign story — they’re the story.
Once a community sees its own truth reflected back at it, on its own terms, the vote isn’t a request. It’s a natural next step. What happens next is up to you.
